IRCTA FALL LEAGUES

Indian River County Tennis Association Leagues begin the week of October 21st. In order to accommodate as many players as possible, the following training schedule has been adopted:

TRAININGS

IRCTA FALL LEAGUES

(Indian River County Tennis Association)

Training will begin Monday, Sept. 30.

Ladies: Div. 3 @8:30, Div. 2 @10:00 am

Men: All divisions @2:00 pm

Fridays: Remaining divisions of Ladies @8:30 am

All training sessions will be 1 ½ hrs. in length and are available for single sessions($40) or as a package (depending on the # desired) averaging out to $30/session. Please sign up for the appropriate time on PlaybyPoint. Sessions can NOT be shared or carried over to the next season.

It is NOT too late to join a team. To be put in touch with the proper captain, please call the Shop.

LEAGUE PLAY DAYS are the same as last year:

Tuesdays ~ Ladies’ Divisions 5 & 6

Wednesdays ~ ALL MEN’S DIVISIONS PLAY AT 2:00 pm.

Thursdays ~ Ladies’ Divisions 1 & 2

Fridays ~ Ladies’ Divisions 3 & 4

Women’s matches all start between 9:30 am and 10:30 am,

depending on the club.

The more you play, the better you get. With that in mind, consider some great playing opportunities available to you.

Tennis Round Robins are in full swing, with ladies playing at 8:30 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Men hit the courts every day at 8:30 am and 10:00 am. If you are not involved, call the Shop! These groups are led by dedicated members and are always inclusive!

Clinics are the best deal in town.

“Boot Camp”, “Rusty Racquets”, “Shot of the Week”, and “Mystery Game” are Pro organized. To spice things up, there will be specialty high energy monthly clinics that will really challenge everyone! OR, get a group together and create

a DIY Clinic of your choice! You create the plan! Our Pros can teach anything! Call the Shop for a recurring time.

VBITO

VBITO tickets have now gone “live” on “Eventbrite”.

If you would like to purchase a box with 2, 4, or 6 seats, just come by the Shop to take a look at those available

NOTE: Emma Navarro, our VBITO finalist 2 years ago, made it to the semi finals of the 2024 US Open and is now ranked #10 in the WORLD! 

Our VBITO is the stepping stone to the majors…come experience the intensity and excitement first hand from January 20th – 26th , 2025.

PICKLEBALL

Congratulations to the Pickafillies,

who won their first round Thursday at the

National Championships at Hilton Head!

The ISLAND PICKLEBALL LEAGUE will make its debut the week of October 21st, and the season will run for five weeks. Register on Playbypoint (go to Oct. 1 on the calendar). The participating clubs are Grand Harbor, the Moorings, Sea Oaks, Orchid Island, and John’s Island.

PICKLEBALL TRAININGS WILL BE ARRANGED BY CAPTAINS at times convenient for the majority of team members.
